Teistiméireacht ó

Teistiméireacht ó iar-mhac léinn |   Irish Language Summer Course

The time I spent in An Cheathrú Rua learning Irish is an experience I’ll always remember. I loved every single second I spent there! Every moment of the time spent in the A2 level class with our lecturer - listening to her stories, learning Irish, and subsequently asking her a million questions and having her happily answer those million questions - was a joy. She and all the course’s other teachers are amazing, and you can really feel how much they love what they teach and how much they want their students to succeed! There wasn’t a lecture or field trip I didn’t enjoy either! I especially loved having the freedom to spend a day exploring Inis Oírr, and another roaming around Kylemore Abbey; easily two of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to have been. All our free time spent in An Cheathrú Rua itself was incredible too! The village and the surrounding areas are so beautiful, and it was such an amazing experience to see people in the village be as excited as I was about learning Irish. On top of that, our hosts made us feel right at home! I’ve genuinely never been so well fed and looked after.
