Bríd Seoige is a graduate of NUI, Galway, having completed a BA in Irish and History in 1997, and a Higher Diploma in Business Studies in 1999. She also holds a Diploma in Public Relations from the Irish Academy of Public Relations.
She has over nine years marketing and communication experience. She is currently working as head of marketing with Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge. An tAcadamh, NUI, Galway’s new Irish-medium academy, is developing a broad range of new and dynamic undergraduate and postgraduate university programmes which are aimed at a specific target audience in a niche market. In her current position she is responsible for An tAcadamh’s marketing and public relations programme, which includes extensive branding of Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge, the development of a recruitment strategy for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and internal and external communications and public relations.
