Biography

Andy is originally from Stillorgan in Dublin.

He attended Dublin City University, where he completed a B. Sc. in Finance, Computing and Enterprise. After completing his University studies he spent five years designing banking software and software for the Irish Stock Exchange.

He has also done some voluntary work, including work with Conradh na Gaeilge in Dublin and Raidió na Life.

He is working with an tAcadamh since June 2004. Among the areas of research that he is interested in are entertainment technology and mass storage of data.
