Biography

Niall is originally from Dublin.

He has an M.Sc. in Internet Systems (thesis based on e-learning courses) and a B.Sc. in Computer Applications from Dublin City University.

He spent three years lecturing on a full-time basis in Fiontar, Dublin City University and he spent a year lecturing part-time in the Galway-Mayo Institiute of Technology. He is working in Ionad Charna since 2001.

Niall is involved in teaching Diploma courses in the Computer Unit, as well as M.A. courses in the Education Unit and in the Language Planning Unit. He also helps with the e-learning systems and databases in an tAcadamh. He has a particular interest in e-learning developments that aid language acquisition.
