Biography

Veronica is originally from An Caorán Mór in An Cheathrú Rua. 

She has a B.B.S degree from the Waterford Institute of Technology.

She has also been awarded a Higher Diploma in Public Relations from the Irish Academy of Public Relations. This qualification has only recently been made available in Ireland. 

Veronica is working as an Administrative Assistant on the University campus since August 2004.  
Before this she spent four years working as Business Manager with the television production company An Fhiontarlann Teo. During that time she worked as a Production Assistant on the following programmes:

• Idir Mhagadh & Dáiríre.

• Faoi Bhláth Threasa

• An Plassy.

• Amharc

• PJ Fear an tSiopa

She has also done some voice over work for camera training videos, Súil Eile, for the University and on training websites for the MSc in Technology Management, being run by the Atlantic University Alliance. 

She has spent time working in numerous different areas of business, for example:

• Advertising Manager with the magazine Cuisle. 

• Marketing and Telesales Assistant for CK Business Solutions. 

• International Selling Executive for the engineering company Ossian. 

• Office Administrator for Lally Coaches. 

• Public Relations Officer with Conradh na Gaeilge. 
  (She also spent two years working as the bar manager of Club Áras na nGael, the Conradh na Gaeilge club in Galway).
  

Veronica is also the Treasurer of Cumann Aisteoirí Mhic Easmuinn, a drama society in An Cheathrú Rua, for the past four years and she is an active member of the organisation and presentation of the drama festival that is held in An Cheathrú Rua on an annual basis.
