Biography

Lisa is originally from An Cheathrú Rua, Connemara. 

Lisa is working as a Language Executive with Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge.  She is involved primarily with the implementation of Scéim Teanga na hOllscoile regarding Acht na dTeangacha Oifigiúla on the University Campus as well as designing and teaching language courses. 

Lisa worked as a part-time tutor in Scoil na Gaeilge, where she gained extensive experience of teaching literature, grammar and spoken Irish courses. 

She taught intensive courses to foreigners in Áras Mháirtín Uí Chadhain as well as courses of different levels to University staff.

She completed a B.A. in Irish and Geography and an M.A. sa Nua-Ghaeilge entitled  ’Scoileanna Éigse agus Seanchais Ghaeltacht na Gaillimhe 1957-1990’ in the National University of Ireland, Galway.
