Biography

Fiona is originally from Carna. 

She starting working in Áras na Gaeilge in October 2002. 

She is involved in the development, administration and teaching of Irish courses in Áras na Gaeilge.
She is currently working on a

She was involved in the Comprehensive Linguistic Study of the Use of Irish in the Gaeltacht, a study that was carried out on behalf of the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs. She was also involved in the research project about the Current State of the Gaeltacht Schools, a project that was undertaken on behalf of An Chomhairle um Oideachas Gaeltachta agus Gaelscolaíochta. 

She has completed a B.A. in Irish and Economics, an tArd-Dioplóma san Oideachas and an tArd-Dioplóma sa Teicneolaíocht Faisnéise.
