Biography

Daithí is primarily involved with the implementation of Scéim Teanga na hOllscoile on the University Campus.  He is also involved in designing and teaching language courses. 

He attained his qualifications as a mature student in the National University of Ireland, Galway and in the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. He has vast experience of teaching Irish at every level of the education system and has a masters degree in teaching methodologies. 

He spent two years working as an Irish lecturer in Coláiste Mhuire, Marino in Dublin, where he was involved in designing a language course for the Certificate in Teaching Irish on behalf of the Department of Education.  He lectures on teaching methodologies as a guest lecturer to students studying for the Higher Diploma in Education through the medium of Irish.
