Biography

Belinda is originally from Knockmore in Co. Mayo.

She is working as a Feidhmeannach Teanga since January 2004.  She graduated with a B.A. in Irish and English from National University of Ireland, Galway and went on to do the Ard-Dioplóma i gCumarsáid Fheidhmeach.  She spent two and a half years working in TG4, as a production assistant in the newsroom and as a broadcast technician, while also spending time as a reviewer on Cúla 4.

For her M.A. thesis, Belinda researched the teaching of the Irish language in  a number of third-level institutions in the state as well as the concept of autonomous learning in a university environment.
Amongst her duties are the design, administration agus teaching of Irish courses.
