Biography

Seán is from Leitir Mealláin, Ceantar na nOileán, Co. Galway. 

He attended the National University of Ireland, Galway where he completed a B.A. in Sociology & Politics and English.  
He also completed an tArd-Dioplóma i gCumarsáid Fheidhmeach. 

He spent a while working as a camera operator and a television director with An Fhiontarlann Teo., a television production company based in Ionad na Ceathrún Rua. Two documentaries that Seán directed and recorded have been shown on TG4, and he has been commissioned to record another documentary. 
He has been involved in camera work on various series and documentaries for Flutterby Films, EO Teilifís, RTÉ and TG4.

The documentary entitled Concerto Chaitlín Maude won an IFTA Award in 2005 for the best Irish language documentary.
