Biography

He is the Managing Director of An Fhiontarlann Teo., in An Cheathrú Rua since the company was founded. 

For the past few years he has been working as the executive producer for a series of magazine style programmes as well as producer of the documentaries made by An Fhiontarlann Teo. for TG4. 

Rónán worked in community radio from 1982 until 1990. 

He completed a B.A. in Communication Studies from Dublin City University in 1993 and he was appointed the first Manager of Raidió na Life in Dublin the same year. He began working in the National University of Ireland, Galway in September 1994 to develop the Ard-Dioplóma i gCumarsáid Fheidhmeach and he is still lecturing on this course.
